West Suburban Angels February Pitch
On Thursday, February 16th Rev3 Innovation Center hosted West Suburban Angels, a group that provides a forum that brings together high-growth early state start-up businesses looking for capital and mentorship, with investors interested in a financial return and community impact.
WSA heard three startup companies: Food Junky, Data Cubs Inc., and Needls pitch their ideas to the group of investors.
FoodJunky, based out of Chicago, provides simple online restaurant ordering for yourself, a group or an event. Different from other services like Seamless, Grubhub and Eat24, FoodJunky doesn’t charge the restaurants but charges the customer $.99 per order.
Data Cubs Inc., based out of Schaumburg, is a commercial underwriting service powered by data science. Data Cubes has four specific platform capabilities: machine intelligence, data harmonization, insurance ontology and data apps.
Needls, based out of Toronto, is deemed the internet’s first RoboAgency. They automatically create, target and optimize digital ads across Facebook and Instagram for businesses.
